General Information:

  • All registrations for both boys and girls will be conducted online. (Links at bottom of page).
  • HCSMHA accepts players on a first come first served basis. Waiting lists may apply. (SOUTH COUNTY GIRLS: Every effort will be made to accommodate players in their preferred centre, however there are no guarantees).
  • The early bird discount of $100.00 will apply to all registrations received before June 15. After June 15, all registrations will be subject to the full registration fee.
  • All registration fees include a $50.00 non-refundable amount.
  • The fees for 2017-2018 season are as follows:

Payment Options:


Credit Card
  • Registration fees may be paid online using Visa or MasterCard. This is a fully secure service offered by Chase PaymenTech.
  • All Registrations submitted prior to June 1 will require $200 initial payment and the remaining balance may then be spread among future installments.
  • Registrations submitted after June 16 will require a $300 initial payment with future installments available.

Cheques & Money Order

  • Will only be accepted from successful Pathway to Potential applicants (if necessary). (Formerly N.C.B.S.) 




Refund Policy:

  • All refunds must be approved by the registrar.
  • All registration fees include a $50.00 non-refundable amount.
  • Refunds may take up to four (4) weeks to process.


Respect In Sport (BOYS ONLY):  
  • This is a Hockey Canada and Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) requirement. South County Girls do not fall under this requirement as they are government by the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA).

  • Effective August 31, 2014, the ‘Respect in Hockey’ initiative will require all Team Officials, On-ice Volunteers, On-Ice Officials and Parents to take the appropriate ‘Respect’ education. 

  • At least one parent or guardian of each player registered in minor hockey in the OMHA will be required to complete the Respect in Sport - Parent Program as a condition of participation. The one-hour online course is a proactive, educational program that empowers parents with the tools to ensure the game is enjoyable and respectful for themselves, their children and all other stakeholders in the game.

  • This course is mandatory in order for your child to be eligible to play (boys only).

  • Please note that in order to play girls only hockey, your child must be born in 2008 or earlier. For children born after 2008,  please use the BOYS registration link. (Exceptions may be made only if space permits)
